The guide — six steps

From zero to your own on-chain 3D world in about fifteen minutes. You only need the Chrome browser and a little BSV.

1

Install the ORD/plug wallet

Chrome extension · your keys never leave your device

BSVmap talks to the ORDnet Web3 Browser extension — a wallet built for 1Sat Ordinals. Your private keys are AES-256 encrypted with your password and stored only inside the extension.

  1. Install the extension from ordnet.io and pin it to your toolbar.
  2. Choose Create new wallet, set a password (8+ characters) — or import an existing wallet (12-word phrase or WIF; presets exist for RelayX, Yours/Panda, Twetch, ElectrumSV and more).
  3. Open Backup and write down your recovery phrase and WIF key. On paper.
!No backup, no coins. Nobody can restore your wallet for you — not even ORDnet. Store the phrase offline and never share it.
2

Fund your wallet

ORD/plug → Receive

Open the wallet, hit Receive and send some BSV to your address (QR code included). A little goes a long way — this is what things cost:

Claim a BSVmap district0.005 BSV registration + 0.0001 BSV service
Pin content (image / link)0.0001 BSV per update
Inscribe a 3D worldminer fee by size (≈ 0.001 BSV for 650 KB)
List / delist on the marketplacefree — just a signature
iEvery on-chain action also carries a few thousand satoshis in miner & service fees — the wallet always shows the exact total before you sign.
3

Claim your BSVmap

bsvmap.io · first valid inscription wins

Head to bsvmap.io and connect your wallet (top-right). The map shows all 1,000,000 districts:

  1. Zoom in and click a yellow district. Rule of the land: district #N only unlocks once the BSV chain reaches block height N.
  2. Click Claim this BSVmap and approve in your wallet. Your claim inscribes N.bsvmap on-chain as a 1Sat Ordinal.
  3. The district locks instantly (0-conf protection) and turns orange once the indexer confirms it. It now sits in your wallet under BSVmaps.
iClaiming many? Use multi-select on the map to claim batches in one transaction, and the wallet's Bulk list later to manage hundreds at once.
4

Show your content

district panel → Owner tools → Content

Your district is a billboard on the permanent web. Open it on the map, connect as owner and use the Content tab:

Image

Paste the inscription txid of any on-chain image — it renders right on your tile when visitors zoom in.

Link

Add a https://… site or a yoursite.web3 domain — visitors who tap your tile open it. Perfect for advertising.

Each save costs 0.0001 BSV and is bound on-chain to your district. Own a rectangular block of districts? The Grid tab spans one image across all of them (up to 400 tiles) — giant on-chain art.

5

Build your 3D BSVmap world

district panel → Create 3D BSVmap

Every district can carry a walkable 3D world, inscribed as one self-contained HTML ordinal. As the owner you'll see this button on your district:

⬡ Create 3D BSVmap

  1. The world builder opens right on the map. Place blocks in 16 colours, drop in trees, houses, critters and lanterns — or start from a template.
  2. Import your own on-chain GLB models and images by txid, or place the Open-Air Gallery: a ready-made museum with 10 artwork stands — paste 10 inscription txids and done.
  3. Add a portal to any other district: visitors walk in and press E to travel to that world. Link your lands into a route — or an open metaverse.
  4. Test with P (play mode), then hit Inscribe world. The world is written on-chain and linked to your district automatically.

From that moment every visitor sees the orange Visit the 3D BSVmap button on your district — your world, forever on-chain, no server required.

iBuilder keys: B block · E erase · I select · P play · R rotate · +/ scale.
6

Sell & trade

district panel → Owner tools → Sell · trustless atomic swap
  1. Open your district, pick Sell, set a price in BSV and sign. Your wallet creates a one-sided swap — the ordinal never leaves your wallet until someone actually pays your price.
  2. Your district turns green on the map. Any buyer can complete the swap trustlessly: their payment and your ordinal move in the same transaction, or not at all.
  3. Changed your mind? Delist with one signature. Selling many? The ORD/plug wallet's For sale tab has bulk list & bulk delist for up to 300 items per run.
iSold or transferred districts clean themselves up: the marketplace prunes any listing whose ordinal has moved.
